If you are hiring
Offer at least the typical figure for your field and you are in the top half of what students see. The upper end of the middle half puts you in the top quarter. Showing the figure on the listing matters as much as the figure itself: a role with no number on it asks students to apply on trust.

How these are worked out
- Every figure is the monthly allowance a company stated on an internship it posted on Worksider between 2020 and 2026. Nothing is estimated or taken from surveys.
- Where a listing gave a range, the lower figure is used, because that is the one every listing has.
- Figures a company chose not to display count here, in the totals, and are never shown against its name. Each company's own published figures are on its company page.
- Figures under S$200 or over S$10,000 a month are left out as typing mistakes. Hourly and per-project pay is not included.
- "Typical" is the median, the middle listing when they are lined up by pay. "Middle half" is the range covering the middle 50%. Both are rounded to the nearest S$50.
- The page updates itself as new internships are posted.
