Who we are

Worksider is run by Innogency Ventures Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202645595G). In these terms, "Worksider", "we" and "us" mean that company. Using Worksider means you agree to these terms. They are governed by Singapore law, and the courts of Singapore decide any dispute about them.

What Worksider is

We list internships, jobs, projects and AI work for students, graduates and young professionals, and send them to our Telegram channel. Worksider works wholly online: roles are listed on the site, and you find them and apply to them on the site.

We are not an employment agency. Nobody at Worksider recruits, screens or shortlists candidates for a company, negotiates pay or terms, arranges interviews or places anyone in a job. Companies decide who they hire, and you decide where you apply. We are not a party to anything you agree with a company or an applicant, and we do not guarantee that anyone gets hired or that any role is filled.

For companies

• Listings must be real roles at a real organisation, with pay described honestly. Asking applicants for money, deposits or personal identity documents is not allowed. The one exception is the fee for a licence exam a financial advisory or insurance role needs, when the listing says so; it is paid to the exam body, never to you.
• Listings must follow Singapore's fair employment guidelines. Wording that discriminates on race, religion, gender, age, nationality or family status will be removed.
• A first listing from a new company is checked by a person before it goes out. We may decline or remove anything, and we will say why.
• Your listings and your hiring decisions are yours, and so is making sure they follow Singapore law.
• You are responsible for what you do with applicants' details: use them to consider the application and nothing else, keep them safe, and delete them when you no longer need them, as the PDPA requires of you.
• If someone makes a claim against us because of your listing, or because of how you used an applicant's details, you cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
• Pay figures you enter are used, without naming you, in our Singapore pay averages. Figures you choose to publish appear on your listing and, with the year, on your company page. If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it.

Paid Telegram posts

• A paid post is one dedicated message to the channel at a booked time, plus your listing featured on the site for 14 days.
• If your post gets no applications within two days of going out, we post it again free. Ask us and we will schedule it.
• Before it goes out, you can cancel for a full refund. Once the message has been sent, the service has been delivered and we do not refund it.
• If we decline your listing, or it is still waiting on us after 72 hours, you are refunded automatically.
• We do not promise a number of applications, views or hires. Channel membership is public and you can check it before you buy.

Financial advisory and insurance roles

• Adviser, agent and other financial advisory or insurance roles are listed under Financial Advisory / Insurance, as a paid website listing for 30 days. They are not posted to our Telegram channel, free or paid, and are not featured.
• Each listing says how the role pays: the fixed pay, or that there is none; whether it is an employee or an agent contract; whether licence exams are needed and who pays for them; and how commission and targets work. A role paid mainly by commission cannot be listed as an internship.
• The firm must be licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, or be recruiting for a licensed firm it names in the listing.
• A role in this field listed under another one is moved into it, and stays off the site until it is paid for. Refunds work as for Telegram posts: if we decline it, or it is still waiting on us after 72 hours, you are refunded automatically.

If you're looking for work

• Worksider is free, and always will be.
• Your name, contact details and CV go to a company only when you apply to its listing, or when you say yes to a company that asks to talk to you.
• Apply honestly. Accounts sending mass applications with false details will be closed.
• Zhi Wei is an AI. He can get things wrong, and nothing he says is professional, legal, medical or financial advice. He points you to roles you apply to yourself, and never sends your details to a company.
• No employer should ever ask you to pay, to send identity documents before an offer, or to keep hiring entirely inside a chat app. Report it and we will take the listing down. A licence exam for a financial advisory or insurance role is the one fee a listing may mention, and it is paid to the exam body, not the firm.

Introductions

If you say yes to introductions, we suggest people you might like to meet for networking or mentoring, and only introduce people who have told us they are 18 or older. Your name and contact details go to the other person only after you both say yes. An introduction is a chance to talk, not a job referral: we never use one to put you forward for a role. What happens after it is between the two of you, so take the care you would with anyone new: meet somewhere public, and never send money or identity documents.

Your account

You need to be 13 or older to make an account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account, or remove what it posted, if it breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.

Content you give us

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to show it on Worksider and send it to our Telegram and Discord channels for that purpose. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal content, apart from records we must keep, which are listed in the privacy page.

When things go wrong

We do our best to keep the site up, the listings genuine and your data safe, but we provide Worksider as it is and as available. Listings are written by the companies that post them: we check new companies and remove what breaks these terms, but we cannot check every detail of every role.

We are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings or profits, or any indirect loss, or for anything arising between a company and an applicant or between people we introduce. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to S$100 or what you have paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is more. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that Singapore law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. If a change affects something you have already paid for, the terms you bought under still apply to that purchase.
